The Thin Adjustable Stool from LaPalma provides seating with a smooth, expressive character that adds impact and simplicity to its surroundings. A contemporary design with a hint of smooth Scandi design elements, it’s designed by Karri Monni, with a minimalist construction and tasteful textures that stand out but refuse to overpower its environment. The stool ascends from a low-profile circular base along an adjustable, central stem, contrasting a horizontal, cylindrical footrest with an FSC-certified sustainably-harvested seat of curving plywood, which thickens slightly to support the back while showcasing a fluid, organic form. The base is lined with felt to protect the floor below, providing a soft layer of support between the stool’s structure and its environment.
